Project BEE will assist Visually Impaired

Project Bee is a talking, interactive GPS enabled navigation assistant intended for the visually impaired but there’s no reason why sighted people couldn't benefit from it either. Lack of independent mobility and access to new emerging technologies has kept the visually impaired market behind but with Project Bee, designer Tao Lin hopes things will change – all via a very stylish bracelet.
The system relies on voice commands, audio and haptic feedback. But what instantly jumps out at me is this device doesn’t look like a “helper.” It looks like something anybody with a tech minded fetish would love and that’s a win-win assuming the whole thing works.

Hubless Bike with a Motor

Designing a bike with out spokes or hubs is an imaginary concept but Synapse made it possible. Though many people believes it cannot be possible real time, one should note that, we are in the world of making things that are impossible as possible. This bike too comes to that sort. Surprisingly you need not use your strength to ride this. Instead, it is equipped with an electric motor to enhance riding capabilities. The wheels are made with very dynamic materials to withstand the friction and the body of the bike is made with bio-genetic materials which is eco-friendly as well as strong.

EOLE: The Wind Energy Watch

We have solar watches to those who prefer saving energy sources. But we can't imagine a wind watch that can display time by blowing air on it. Don't worry, you need not continuously blow the air to make it charge or something. If you wanna know time at any instance, just blow air gently, and the wheel rotates, then time will be displayed on the icy blue display in digital format. When the wheel is rotated the mechanical energy is converted to electrical energy to display the short visual sequence. With in a few seconds the display will be disappeared to reveal a black dial again.

MacBook of 2020 Concept

Put aside your critical ego for a moment and enjoy designer Tommaso Gecchelin’s vision of an Apple MacBook circa 2020. Keyboards, mice and 2-dimensional screens are passe. Hit the jump for the future.
Envisage a computer nearly paper thin, able to shape shift from metal to plastic. Thanks to molecular manufacturing, a micro-lattice nano material enables you to shrink the dimensions to fit into your pocket. Nano technology miniaturizes familiar technologies into thin sheets of composites, each serving a separate function. One layer is photo voltaic for infinite battery life. One layer projects ultrasound waves for tactile feedback. Another layer works like a pelican cam to capture the real world in 3D while a separate layer works like a holographic emitter. And of course, everything is wireless. No ports, no cables. I only have one question. Will it blend?

World's first Personal Robo

Humanoids are being developed worldwide to serve humans. As we know, the machines on which we are depending upon right now, too, are some kind of robots. But we usually don't get the feel of experiencing the robots because they don't resemble us or any kind of creature species. That is the fact. A computer is a robot. A TV or AC is a robot. But we can't derive robotic feel from them because they won't show mechanical movements and also they won't look like us. That is the reason humanoids are evolved which resembles us and assists us in many ways.
This kinda humanoid you are viewing is the personal humanoid robot of its kind. It's name is LUNA. It is announced to to have all kind of capabilities, works and it even has its own app store with additional functionalities including face recognition. This beautiful humanoid is equipped with 8 inch touch screen, two cameras for optical vision, a 3-mic array and a variety of sensors. Luna is expected to hit the market by the end of 2011.

Triple Fold Notebook

Everything is being scaled down day by day. Especially every electronic gadget scales down to remarkable sizes every year. And this laptop is an example to that. From vacuum tubes to desktops, from desktops to laptops, from laptops to palmtops and from palmtops to? I can guess we are going to experience a vast change in technology regarding the size of devices. This triple fold laptop has the facility to fold the screen in the middle so that it can be easily carried away. When it is folded completely, it just looks like a slim case but not a laptop. Also, the keyboard is also reduced to the size suited to the fold. A new trend folding concept.

iPhone Case that can prints like a Polaroid

Apple iPhone is a sensation in the mobile market. Many accessories are being designed and developed to enhance the capability of the beautiful gadget. Many cases, touch accessories, skins have been developed exclusively for iPhone. Now another useful gadget is conceptualized especially for Apple iPhone. That one is an external shielding case which is capable of printing photos and documents in the miniature format instantly just like a Polaroid camera. This case can also increase the capacity of digital zoom of the camera of iPhone. Smart gadget which saves time and money.

Glider Camera

Bored of taking photographs at common angles and stills. Want to try unique? Then this camera is for you. This is a conceptual glider camera which is capable of capturing photos from the sky. It looks like an actual glider which can fly when pulled via catapult.  It will be provided with a catapult to 'throw' the camera like a glider. The glider camera has the camera lens at the front of the tip. Then it will capture from the air in continuous shots at different angles. This glider camera is not only limited to just capturing photos, but it can shoot HD videos from higher altitudes which is an exciting experience. Must try gadget!
