GPS Navigation devices for bikes became very predominant these days in guiding our way through new paths . In cars, we can securely look in to the device and drive safe accordingly. But in bikes, it is not so safe while driving as we concentrate on looking through the directions, we may come across any obstacle on the road. To avoid such kind of scenarios in bike driving, a new kind of GPS navigation devices have been designed.

Bicycles do not have any lights, that is the reason we don't risk long distances at nights on bicycles. But using this laser projection set up, we can drive safely on bicycles. When this laser set up is installed in our bicycles, it will project a virtual lane on either side of the bicycle, which is visible even from long distances. Designed by Xfire, this is definitely a useful and efficient add on to our bicycle.

Concept of air bags is common in 4 wheelers where it will inflates when something terrible happens. Bike riders till now is dependent on helmets itself, but helmets alone cannot guarantee your life in major accidents. For this reason the concept of air bags is remodelled to a new design named 'Safety Sphere'. Biker must wear this suit while riding. When any accident happens, it will inflates into a sphere ball with in fraction of seconds providing safety on the spot. On the flip side, this concept did not explain the situation of the rider after the sphere is formed. He might roll down the streets!!

Designing a bike with out spokes or hubs is an imaginary concept but Synapse made it possible. Though many people believes it cannot be possible real time, one should note that, we are in the world of making things that are impossible as possible. This bike too comes to that sort. Surprisingly you need not use your strength to ride this. Instead, it is equipped with an electric motor to enhance riding capabilities. The wheels are made with very dynamic materials to withstand the friction and the body of the bike is made with bio-genetic materials which is eco-friendly as well as strong.

Samsung bicycle network paves the way for the community sharing. An advanced futuristic bicycle which has GPS screen to locate the routes, transceiver to communicate with the fellow cyclers, a finger print lock system that prevent bicycle theft from intruders and many more. This bicycle concept is mainly focussed on community sharing and task oriented. Say, a group of people were assigned a mission to find something. People will be scattered in different directions on these bicycles and will be communicated very easily with these cycles. An amazing idea that works well. This design is nominated for Samsung Young Designer Award 2011.

Amazing bike concept designed by Bradford Waugh. This bicycle, if you observe doesn't have any spokes to provide mechanical support to the bicycle. But how the bicycle runs? Actually, the wheel doesn't need any air tube either but has a cushioned rubber material that supports the wheel and the inner side of the wheel has some gear slots which is in turn connected to a chain system that will make the bike move. If this bike took its realistic form, I'm sure this can make a revolutionary impact in bicycle riding.

We came across air filling stations for bikes, which can be available at fuel or gas stations some how. And fuel stations for all 2 and above wheeler vehicles. But imagine a air refilling station for bicycle at regular places near by pedestrian paths and cycle tracks. We can stop by and fill the in the tube. Actually this is a conceptual idea which when implemented in metropolitan cities in low traffic regions gives wonderful results. It is rather a great development
