Stanford Students Made Transparent Li-Ion Batteries

As the mobiles are changing their shape now a days, we were uncertain regarding the charging of devices. We have roller phone mobile concepts, paper thin mobile concepts and so on. But how these mobiles can be charged is the big question. I mean, mobiles generally use Lithium Ion batteries for their smooth running. And the current scalability of these batteries are about an inch or two. Thanks to one of the Stanford graduate, Yuan yang who developed Transparent Li-ion battery with his professor Yi Cui which paves the way to the future consumer electronics. This battery is paper thin [50 Microns] and transparent too. These batteries are made up of Copper, Aluminum and a special substance called Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). 'PDMS is dead cheap and is already being used in contact lenses and in plastic surgeries' says Yang.

Transparent TV

Transparency is the current desirable trend most of us are wanting. We came across transparent mobiles, transparent speakers and many other stuff related to transparency that attracted most gadgetians. Transparent TV is similar one in the same row. Transparent TV is a frameless glass piece that can show you the background of the environment when not in use. However it will display solid images when the TV is switched on with high contrast quality picture and with rich color reproduction. This transparent television uses both LCD technology and the latest TOLED technology. Eagerly waiting for it to release in to the market.

Magic Looking Glass Concept

A futuristic magic looking concept which can do miracles when you see through it. Just see a building through it to find the map of the entire building. Just read a book through it to find a meaning of a specific word. See the sky through it to see the data about stars. See the flowers through it to know its scientific name or its uses. See the diet through it to know its composition. See a mobile phone through it to view photos and videos stored it the phone. See an item in the shopping mall to know its price. And this glass is advantageous to the people with hearing disabilities as it can show you the conversation of the people when you look them through the glass. And the applications are endless. It's a miracle glass gadget I've ever seen till now.
