Humanoids are being developed worldwide to serve humans. As we know, the machines on which we are depending upon right now, too, are some kind of robots. But we usually don't get the feel of experiencing the robots because they don't resemble us or any kind of creature species. That is the fact. A computer is a robot. A TV or AC is a robot. But we can't derive robotic feel from them because they won't show mechanical movements and also they won't look like us. That is the reason humanoids are evolved which resembles us and assists us in many ways.
This kinda humanoid you are viewing is the personal humanoid robot of its kind. It's name is LUNA. It is announced to to have all kind of capabilities, works and it even has its own app store with additional functionalities including face recognition. This beautiful humanoid is equipped with 8 inch touch screen, two cameras for optical vision, a 3-mic array and a variety of sensors. Luna is expected to hit the market by the end of 2011.

Many of us witnessed a robo vehicle in many sci-fi movies and Hollywood flicks where the rider sits on it and controls it using the gear arms and user interface. Actually many feel that such type of vehicles may be seen in 10 years from now. But a Japan company brought us right now. The design especially made for kids is brilliant and extraordinary. They can enjoy at the maximum and can experience every feature that are shown in the movies, like gripping, moving, racing, lifting and many more.

Motion Controlled Robots
Friday, August 13, 2010 Sainath Sriram No comments
Till now we have seen programmed Robots which will work as we program them. We have came across artificial intelligence robots too which will act by analyzing our actions and moves accordingly. For this to happen, scientists keep a variety of actions in their database so they can retrieve according to the situation!!
This is past. The upcoming Robos work based on motion sensor programming! I mean, they work along with our actions. If you can see the picture below, you can notice people moving hands and according to their movements, the robot plays. These robots are termed as Roch 'em sock' em Robots. As we have seen in some movies and videos, you can control your robots with your actions.
